An E-Session with Jodi and Larry!

This morning it was really chilly! I have been watching the weather all week because I had a very exciting day today! I had scheduled an E- session for this afternoon. The weather man insisted it was going to rain so we changed from afternoon to morning! I am so glad we did because it seemed to get colder and colder the longer we were outside! Normal, I know! As soon as the sun peeked through the clouds it warmed up just a little.

Jodi and Larry were such a fun couple to shoot! You can see the love and joy that they share so clearly in their smiles! I am so excited to join them on their wedding day and capture the moments they will cherish forever!  Here are a few from this morning! Enjoy!

Beloved, Let us love on another; for God is love.

Pregnancy Woes...

Everyone is probably jumping at the seems... You think I'm pregnant! Well... I'm not.

Their are many ladies we know due around this time and I had the honor of joining two of them at the park this morning for some fresh air! I was slightly bummed ... you see, one of these dear ladies is due today and the other in two days! I think..... I felt a little out of place seeing as I was the only one NOT pregnant (of the three of us)!  Don't get me wrong I am SOOOOOO EXCITED for these friends! Always asking how their feeling and anxious to get that phone call we're all expecting!

Everyone keeps asking so when are you going to have number 2???? Well heres your answer!

Alan and I are waiting on Gods timing ... and his timing is perfect. We have been trying for a long time now and I get so frustrated with people asking such an intimate question! It is so hard to trust that God is completely in control of the situation and sometimes I find myself caught up in a little bit of jealously. I guess thats normal... I now know the feeling of a woman who wants a child but can't have one. It is heart breaking, frustrating and humbling.

At least I have one child of my own! Maybe someday we will have the BIG news to share but for now I will be enjoying my horseback riding, mowing and boating privileges!

To many, the words love, hope and dreams are synonymous with horses.

Like human beings, horses are all individuals

with singular personalities,

their own virtues and their own faults.

We become bound to them for their beauty,

their eccentricities, their heart

and the love they so often return to us.

Meet Mable, my BIG white horse. As you can see in the pictures, Rhya and Mable are LOVING each other! Mable has taken this job very seriously! She will allow Rhya to push, poke, pull, smack, crawl under and ride her! I couldn't have asked for a better mare! Enjoy the pictures!!!

What a very special moment!

Brush Brush Brush Brush ... I guess thats what you do with a white horse!

Time to go for a walk!

Good girl Mables!

I am the HAPPIEST little girl in the world!!!

A very KaRen wedding!

Our little church (Habecker Mennonite) out in the country side, had the wonderful privilege of hosting a KaRen wedding! It was held during our church service on Sunday March 27th. Anita (my sister in law) used her fabulous skills to arrange the flowers! They turned out beautifully, especially since Anita only had 2 days to plan and prepare!!!! Jonathan Charles and I did the wedding photos, which I will show you in just a moment! My dad roasted a pig from our hog barn and the KaRen women (and men) prepared the goat... yes I said GOAT!!!!! They butchered the pig and goat Saturday morning... what an experience! I do have pictures but... I don't think I will share those... they might be slightly disturbing! In their home country (Burma/Thailand) it is normal so we let them do their "thing". The wedding reception was filled with laughter, food, KaRen songs and fellowship between both cultures!

Now to photos from the wonderful wedding day! Hope you enjoy!
