Introducing ..........!!!!

We finally have decided to share that we are expecting baby number two very soon! We chose to keep this wonderful news on the quiet side (only family and a few friends knew) because of the trouble we had with my previous pregnancy (Rhya). We are overjoyed to say after a scare with extra fluid in the brain and some growth concerns, baby Harnish is healthy and normal (according to the doctor at maternal fetal medicine this morning!) We are so excited for this little munchkin to arrive and I am so happy to say Rhya is to!

This would be one of the many reasons I haven't been blogging very much lately... I am hoping to at least get a post in once a month if not more. Life has been very crazy and we are all but running around like chickens with our heads cut off! Graphic, I know...

In other news :

Rhya broke her arm falling off of a horse. I know your all probably thinking... "Why in the world was a two and a half year old on a horse and why did she fall off?" If your a horse person you know very well the joys and risks we take when working with these majestic animals. Rhya is one of those natural horse girls who will have a love for horses her whole life. I am so glad! When she fell it was a simple accident. Horse read the leaders body language, rhya wasn't holding on (she was bareback) and one funny, bouncy step made her slide enough to cause her to loose her balance and off she went :( She broke the bone between her should and elbow... right at the elbow. What a tough cookie she is! Thank goodness my mother works in at Lancaster Reginal's ER so we were able to give them a heads up we were coming and my mom was with us through the whole process!
Rhya has her purple cast for one more week yet! Yeah! Then she will have a splint that we can take on and off to bath and exercise :) Rhya has since been back riding and even has her own (dare I say this) Barrel saddle! That does not mean she will be barrel racing anytime soon! The saddle fits snugger and has a larger horn for her to hold on! She was overjoyed when she saw it!

We remodeled the hog barn a few weeks ago... instead of a scale barn (Big scales weigh the pigs and sort automatically) we now have a pen barn (about 30ish pigs in each pen and that's where they stay).  It is much nicer for Alan and hopefully the maintenance will be cut down dramatically!

Thats all for now!

Hopefully you will here/read more from me before baby Harnish arrives!
